Common Cama

The purple flower of the Cama lily was extremely beautiful. Each stem swayed softly back and forth in the breeze. The yellow anthers on the stamines are covered with polen and ready for a bee or butterfly to carry pollen to another plant. The yellow also stands out against the bluish-purple pedals.
