Steamboat Prow and Inter Glacier

Inter Glacier. Mountaineers hike up through Inter Glacier to go over the top of Steamboat Prow and drop down to Camp Sherman for the night before the acsent to the summit. The ranger cabin sits on the backside of Steamboat Prow and most mountaineers seem to camp on the glacier snow behind the hill. Emmons and Winthrop glaciers split at Steamboat Prow with Emmons on the left and Winthrop on the right.
